Designed to accommodate the operations of a small 40-acre organic farm, the Shed provides a fresh take on a traditional form. Simple design and low maintenance materials responded to cost conscious budget requirements. Roof water catchment tanks are housed at the rear of the shed for ease of access. Painted cement board siding offers a warm contrast to the evergreen forest. Polycarbonate panels let light into the equipment bays, and large sliding metal doors bring additional air and light when open.

The accompanying Farmhouse is nearing completion. Like the Shed, the design is cost effective and derived from a classic shape. Careful detailing gives the residence a contemporary edge.
